PICKWICK LAKE

There are a lot of hotels in Florence, Al. we could use but I went ahead and chose the following state park.

JP Coleman State Park: 613 County Road 321, Iuka, Mississippi 38852
(662) 423-6515

Drive time:  7hrs 12 min, 403 miles, (using Pensacola in Google maps),

Cost:  calculated at 12mpg, total cost at $3.20 a gallon, round trip would be $215

This State park is similar to that one we stayed at Wilson, cabins sleep four, and are 65-75 a day.

There is a launch at the park.

I’m sure we will have to run cords much like we did at Wilson for boat recharging.

Here is the link to the state park website-
