Hi, my name is Andy Seago.
I am the latest nominee for the club’s highest honor of distinction,
“The Hammer Award “. The following is the reasoning behind
my nomination: I had spent the whole tournament trying to be
able to get a limit of bass and wanted to at least make somewhat
of a respectful showing. I managed to only catch 1 keeper
bass and after a hot day out on the water I could only say
“ at least I caught 1 for the golf
ball draw. I loaded my boat on to the trailer and when weigh
in was open I got my fish out of the live well (
or thought I had ). I carried the weigh in bag to the
scales and emptied it into the weigh in basket. Once this
was done I noticed that all I had managed to put in the weigh
in bag was water. I had to make the long walk back to my boat
to find the fish till in the live well. I could feel the stares
of all of the club on me as I walked
to my boat and returned. I did manage to revive all the members
at the weigh inby giving them a
good laugh. One member even said “ this
is worthy of going ahead and put Andy’s name on the award.”.
One consolation is there are a few months left in this years
season and we know from last year there is always a chance
someone will out do me. “Right Richie? |
