Added notes from Mack Cramer regarding our club banquet!

The annual Panhandle banquet was held at the Angus Steak House for the much anticipated awards ceremony. We had a nice room and the restaurant really set it up great. After eating our President Billy Blackwell manned the podium and the roast, I mean the awards presentation began. Starting off was Cliff Armstrong, He received the Lunker of the Year Award. Lee Brannon, Tony Boyett, and Mack Cramer took 6, 5, and 4th place respectively, with Rich Hardy and Rich Cornelius taking 3rd and 2nd.  Wayne Thomley took top honors with Angler of the Year Award. Congrats to all for a good competitive year. Rich Cornelius took the prize for winning the annual club fish off.  Speaking of Rich Cornelius , Billy Blackwell, Rich Hardy, and Wayne Thomley gave their accounts on what happened at Lake Wheeler for which Richie received the Hammer Award. Richie, when asked for his version, admitted that the chain of events was just as Rich Hardy, Billy Blackwell and Wayne Thomley described and very accurate. Fun was had by all. Wish the rest of you could have been there, Well there is always next year.
