Hello, my
name is Fred Raby. Although I wasn’t present when
Tony Boyett made his effort to launch his truck, boat
and trailer at Fish River I had heard all about it. I felt it my duty to try
and out do him and I solicited Arty to assist me. Each of us thought the other
unhooked the boat from the trailer. Arty backed my truck up in an effort to
launch my boat for our fishing tournament at the mighty Escambia River. It didn’t
take long to release we had neither one unhooked the boat. Trying to be as inconspicuous
as possible Arty pulled forward and we managed to unhook the boat and were able
to launch with a minimal amount of lost time. It is for our efforts to outdo
Tony I was nominated for the club’s most prestigious award. It is always good to have many nominees to the
club members have a variety of members to consider when voting for the yearly
