Hi, my name is Dave Dyess. I have received my nomination for the Hammer Award for the following reason.

I arrived at the Lay Lake Dam launch site and like everyone else prepared my boat to be launched. I removed my boat straps, turned on the power so as to turn on my GPS. Once I felt I had remembered to do all my pre-launch rituals I got in my boat and was backed into the water. It was then I noticed water coming into my boat and the bilge come on. I light went off in my head that I had failed to put my plug in. I returned to the launch area and put my boat lug in. Then I returned to the group to await blast off time. I added my name to the long list ( and ever growing ) of nominees( over half the club members ).
