Minutes of the Meeting: From Secretary John Stafford's desk! Billy Blackwell called
the meeting to order. 1.
First order of business was to vote on Chuck Cone’s nomination
for club membership and approved. Sponsored by John Kasic. Welcome to the Panhandle
Bass Club ! 2.
Billy Blackwell said he would like to sponsor Andy Siego for club membership 3.
Billy reminded everyone of the Members Of The Board: President Billy Blackwell Vice President/Treasurer Tony Boyett Secretary John Stafford Tournament Director Mack Cramer Asst. Tournament Director Chris Maleno The Hammer Award competition has begun to heat up with 3 additional
members being nominated this month!

Kasic Billy Blackwell Big Fish Mr. Cliff Armstrong The True Story: Lake Seminole earley spawn With a heavy early morning fog on the water Steve Meadows
gave the invocation and Mack the blast off. As the fog burned
off and day began to heat, the bedding fish became the targeted
fish for most fishermen with some nice fish being boated. Mr. Cliff Armstrong
lost the dark cloud over his head and boated a new club record
7.62 pounder, ( it was wearing the life jacket he lost) Wayne Thomley was able to scratch
out the only two day limits of fish to take first place with 19.63
lbs. Those gps way points you got off
Rich Cornelius Lowrance sure worked
! John Kasic used all of his own
skills to get on bedding fish and pitch soft plastics to run a
very close second place
with a two day total of nine fish weighing in at
19.23 lbs. Billy Blackwell said he got on some bedding fish that
liked his little jig and those that did not eat that jumped on
his jerk bait. Billy grabbed third place with 17.46 lbs. and eight
fish for two days. The overall picture of this event for the entire club
was very good with 20 of 21 members boating a total of 100 fish
,55 on day 1, with 3 limits being caught by Wayne, John K. and
Rich H. and 45 on day 2, with Wayne the only one to catch 2 limits
Billy and Lee both had a second day limit weighing in at 200.24
lbs, 114.70 lbs on day one and 85.54 lbs on day 2.On the Cramer
fishing scale I would give Lake Seminole a 8.3 for the event.
