From Secretary John Stafford's desk: Minutes of the Meeting: Billy Blackwell called the meeting to order. 1. First order of business was to vote on Andy Seago’s nomination for club membership. He was approved. Sponsored by Billy Blackwell. Welcome to the Panhandle Bass Club ! 2. Fred Raby received confirmation from the Imperial Palace they would donate a room for our Biloxi raffle. 3. A motion was made and approved for the Biloxi raffle ticket sale. The following members need to have their picture taken in their Panhandle Bass Club shirt and hat. Please wear or at least bring to put on for said pictures at the May club meeting so we can get these on the meet the members page as soon as they canbe completed. The True Story: Lake Jordan Most of us arrived on Friday to pre fish with good weather for casted for Saturday and fading weather conditions predicted for Sunday. The weather changed rapidly Sunday to thunder , lightning and rain with a cold front pushing in on us as we started. We only had to contend with 3 other tournaments on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. With those thoughts in mind Richie C. said he had some doubt’s about how we would do compared to last year. Well let me tell you how we did, as a club including our guests we caught 223 fish and weighed in 435.22 lbs. of fish. We set some new club and personal best record 1. Most weight 432.10 2. Most fish 223                   most limits 16        4. Best 1 day stringer Rich Cornelius 18.94 lbs. 5. Best 2 day stringer Rich Hardy 33.25 lbs. We also had 4 members with 2 day limits over 30 lbs. each, Rich Hardy, Chuck Cone, Wayne Thomley and Lee Brannon. So much for fade out Richie’s predictions. Next time I will ask John Kasic what he thinks. At the end of day one Richie Cornelius was in the lead with 18.94 lbs. (new 1 day record ) and Wayne hot on his tail with 17.04 lbs.. And as normal for Richie his fish would not bite, that left the door open for Big Rich Hardy to put a whoopin on Richie with 2 day total of 33.25 lbs. Chuck Cone beat out Wayne Thomley for second place with 31.92 lbs. to 31.29 lbs respectively. Lee Brannon gets honorable mention with 4^th at 30.72 lbs.. We had 21 members fish and everyone had at least 1 fish, John Kasic 1 fish 1.01lbs. Ken Repine (13 fish 19.57 lbs.) Arty was the leader for our guests with 7 fish weighing 13.60 lbs. I will rate this lake's fishing at a 9.5 And the weather at a 5 for this time of year. Congratulations and well done to all.
