Minutes of the Meeting:
The November 2007 (First
one of the 2007/08 fishing season) meeting of the PANHANDLE BASS CLUB was
brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on November 7th, 2007. The meeting was held
at Founaris Brothers and was presided over by our newly elected President,
Wayne Thomley. There were 21 members and 2 guest present, Ron Fairbanks
& John Stafford .

Old Business: “Reminder”, our Club banquet
is coming up this week at the Angus on November 17th @ 6:30pm.
Your meal will be the order you gave Mack.
Kudos go out to Ken Repine for all his hard work on the Club’s website , which
is looking good, once again..
The 50/50 this month went to Walter McCartney.
New Business:
***Fish-off site nominations***
All Fish-off sites for 2007 must be submitted
by the December meeting, they will be voted on at the December meeting by
a simple majority vote.
So far, we have submitted Lake Wheeler
& St. Johns River for a 2008 Fish-off site.
*** Hammer Award ***

November Tournament:
The first tournament of the new year was at Claiborne Lake out of Cobb’s landing, we had
18 boats to kick off the new season. The weather was great just a beautiful
day.
The word was the bite was on plastics &
crank baits. Everyone caught fish.
Big Fish winner of the tournament
Went to Frank Kelly a 4.36 lb
Spotted bass, good job Frank.
John Buck finished first with 7 fish weighing
12.29, Frank Kelly took second with 7 fish at 12.25 and Rich Cornelius took
third with 7 fish weighing 10.94 lbs. Good job guys.
The muddy bank made for some not so happy
campers not to mention the steep ramp which gave some of us a little trouble.
