The June 2008 meeting of the PANHANDLE BASS CLUB was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on June 4th, 2008. The meeting was held at Founaris Brothers and was presided over by our President, Wayne Thomley. There were 21 members present .

Old Business: First off our President, Wayne Thomley
brought up the raffle for discussion. Fred Raby made
a motion to sell $10 raffle tickets and for each club member to sell 10 tickets
each. The motion passed. The club also
voted on the new 7 fish rule and it passed and will be amended in the tournament
rules. The Club banquet will be at the Angus hopefully we will be able to reserve
the 1st of Nov. date. Mack made mention
that he had misplaced his list for the Choctawhatchee Black Creek room pairings
and went over the list of who needed rooms again.
The 50/50 this month went to Charles
Loyed.
New Business: The Kistler Rods will
be ordered this week. Most of the club now qualifies for the fish off tournament.

June
Tournament:
The June tournament was held at Hubbard’s Landing on the
Tensaw River . We had 20 boats for the tournament. The weather was very hot!!!
And the water low and muddy.
Most Everyone caught fish.!
Big Fish winner of the tournament
First place went to Fred Raby with 7 fish weighing 8.66. John Buck finished second
with 7 fish weighing 8.22, and Steve Graham rounded out the top three with 4 fish
at 7.21 lbs. Great job guys.
