Old Business:  The 50/50 draw was won by Mitch Gardner

again this month, his luck will run out soon.

There was a motion passed to the floor for Wayne to negotiate with G-Loomis Rods, it was unanimous, after Wayne researches the problem he will let the club know the best way the club can resolve the situation.

The Auction went well once again, all sorts of good stuff was acquired, tackle bags, soft plastics,

Knife sharpeners, an autographed skeeter shirt, and a hat. The club thanks Wayne for his hard work in acquiring these items for auction.

New Business:  “Note”,

This note is to inform the club members on the matter of Frank “Sarge” Bost, due to missing 3 consecutive tournaments because of a family emergency, The E-Board met and discussed the situation, Sarge will not be dropped from the club membership. Sarge, we are glad you are back and at the same time the club sends it’s sympathies to you and your family for your loss.

May Tournament: Logan Martin was the site of this month’s tournament. The weather was cooperative aside from a little rain shower on Sunday morning and our first hint of the approaching summer heat. Water clarity ranged from mostly clear to the south to somewhat stained in the lake’s northern area’s. Most of the fish brought to the scales were spotted bass caught on the numerous boat docks and points Logan Martin had to offer. Very few largemouth were brought to the scales probably due to the post spawn blues. Most of the spotted bass caught were in the 12 to 15 inch range.

As you know there is always someone who figures out the puzzle and brings some nice sacks of fish to the scales. Wayne Thomley discovered the key to catching nice fish this week, weighing in a limit of nice spots

Each day, winning the tournament with 14 fish for over 22 pounds, and capturing the big fish with a nice thee and a half pound spot. Steve Graham and John Kasic continued their good seasons by finishing in second and third. Cliff Armstrong had a little luck on his side, he did draw the yellow gulf ball, Tony Boyett on the other hand, drew the dreaded orange one and paid a buck.
