Minutes of the Meeting:
The July 2007 meeting of the Panhandle Bass Club was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on July 3, 2007. The meeting was held at the Founaris Brothers on Hwy 29 and was presided over by President Fred Raby.There were 21 members present.

Old Business: The 50/50 draw went to Charles Loyed this month.
Wayne brought in several items for the auction, hats , line, and some floating pliers to name a few, Wayne also stated his supply has depleted and if anyone has things at home they would like to auction off to bring them to the future meetings.
The G-Loomis problem has been solved.
The
club is looking at possibly having the Club Banquet in November or December
this year, John and
September is the month for submitting proposed rule changes, they must be in writing when submitted. Also, if anyone would like to hold a position on the E-Board, let it be heard at the September meeting.
“The skunk”
The way to receive it; the highest member in the points standings who zero’s a tournament will be rewarded the skunk, it must be displayed on your boat during the tournament in visible sight, on your dash, tied to a pole seat, etc. If everyone catches fish, then the person already in possession of the skunk keeps it, good luck to all.
New Business: The Boo-Ray has started over again, remember, if you cant make the meeting, have someone pay your fee for you in order to keep you in the pot.
The club is looking at ways to raise money for the club, if anyone has any ideas, bring it up at the next meeting.
***Fish-Off News***
The following members will need to fish the remaining tournaments listed in order to qualify for the Fish-Off in October:
Tony Boyett – needs August or Sept.
F. Kelly – needs August or Sept.
R. Renner – needs August or Sept.
S. Meadows – needs August or Sept
F. Bost – needs August and Sept
**October 2006 can’t be counted as one of the 8 tournaments required to qualify.**
The following members will be able to fish the October tournament, however they are not eligible for the Fish-off:
Charles Loyed – Dan Thomas –
All members are eligible to fish the October tournament, but you must have fished 8 tournaments during the year to qualify for the fish-off, October 2007 can’t be counted as one of the 8.

July Tournament: This month was the mighty Escambia, hot and humid it was, the river was on the rise and stained, with an outgoing tide, most of us thought it would be a good day of fishing, we were wrong. You can never tell about those
Congrat’s to those who did catch some fish.
Walter took first place with 3 fish weighing 6.28 lbs, he also had big fish for the tournament, @ 2.71 lbs.
Good job Walter.
Second place went to Fred Raby, he
Had 4 fish that weighed 5.95 lbs .
Wayne Thomley finished third with 3 fish weighing 3.55 lbs.
No limits were caught, and 13 of 23 fishing came in empty handed.
What a day.
