April Tournament:
Miller’s Ferry was the site of this months tournament, and once again Mother Nature played her role in making it a miserably cold and windy day. When are we gonna get a break.
You know those bass fishermen though, it takes a lot to stop them.
The river was stained and the water temp was in the mid 60’s, the word from those who pre-fished was that the fish were still catchable despite the cold front blowing in. Some top water, crank baits and plastics were the best choices.
Rich Renner, caught the big fish of the tournament at 3.04 lbs.
Good job Rich.
Billy Blackwell took first with 7 fish for 11.35 lbs, Rich Cornelius was second with 7 fish for 10.20 lbs and John Kasic was third with 7 fish for 8.57 lbs.
