MINUTES OF THE MEETING
The November 2005 (First one of the 2006 fishing season) meeting of the PANHANDLE BASS CLUB was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on November 2nd, 2005. The meeting was held at Founaris Brothers and was presided over by President Fred Raby. There were 18 members and 2 guests present.

OLD BUSINESS:
The club 50/50 draw was won by Lee Brannon this month, Walter will have copies of the 2006 season tournament schedule available at the next meeting. The December meeting will be the time to submit Fish-off sites for the 2006 season, it will be voted on at that meeting. Remember, if you submit a site it must be in writing with all the pertinent information you can get relating to the club and site.
NEW BUSINESS:
For the up-coming season, all room reservations will be handled by our club treasurer ( Mack Cramer ), this covers the two-day tournaments and the one-day tournaments that are out of town in which someone may want to go up on a Friday. So there is no need for anyone to make their own reservations.
The 2005 season Banquet site is still in the works, we will try and have it resolved at the December meeting.
December 17th is the date proposed.
Wayne Thomley had some sample anytime T-Shirts, they are not official shirts, but will have the club insignia on them, it's helping the club out so get with Wayne Thomley if you hadn't already.

November Tournament:
The November tournament was held on Claiborne Lake out of Cobb's Landing, we had a nice turn out for the first of the 2006 season. The water was stained and a little high while pre-fishing on Friday, but dropped out quickly on Saturday while above the dam had risen about 2 feet. Those who had the fish located above the dam on Friday struggled on Saturday due to the rise in the water. The fishing was a little tough for everyone, and the big fish were hard to keep buttoned up, the baits of choice were crank baits, and pitching soft plastics to heavy cover. Tony Boyett had the big fish for the tournament, it weighed in at 4.51 lbs, good job Tony. Tony also finished in third place for the tournament. John Buck finished second and Rich Cornelius finished first overall.
Thanks to all in the club for helping each other out at the landing, it made things run much smoother and there were no problems.
