MINUTES OF THE MEETING


The March 2006 meeting of the Panhandle Bass club was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on March 1st, 2006.
The meeting was held at Founaris Brothers on Hwy 29 and was presided over by President Fred Raby.
There were 20 members present and 1 guest.

OLD BUSINESS:


The 50/50 draw went to John Buck. The Complimentary room at the Guest House Inn went to Doug Webb.
Cliff Armstrong has stepped down from the club in good standings, leaving us with 21 members at present.
I'm sure Cliff will be back with us in the future, it's in his blood.

NEW BUSINESS:

Anyone interested in the inflatable life jackets should contact Fred Raby.
As a reminder, when we have the 2 day tournaments, we would like for everyone to wear their shirt and hat on day one of the tournament.
It makes things much easier to keep track of and it makes the club look good.
No other new business was discussed.

March Tournament:

Our March tournament was held out of the lower dam landing on lay lake, with a full membership present. Let's keep it going guys.
Most of the fish were caught in the backs of creeks on crank baits and Carolina rigs, shaky heads worked for most everyone as usual.
Big fish on day one was caught by one of our usual guests, Brian Knoll, it weighed 3.66 lbs, good job Brian.
Day two big fish went to Walter McCartney, it weighed 3.59 lbs. There was 4 limits caught during the tournament.
