OLD BUSINESS:
The club would like to thank Mack Cramer and his wife Sandra for allowing the Club Banquet to be held at their home, the banquet went very well and everyone there had an enjoyable evening.
The 50/50 pot this month went to Wayne Thomley. Got to get lucky sometime or another.
John Buck and Rich Renner were voted in as our newest members, were glad to have ya and we hope you both enjoy fishing with the Panhandle Bass Club.
The club would like to thank Mack and Sandra for opening their home for our club banquet.
The food and comradery were all good. Thanks again.
Just in case, lets let it be known that Chris Malena was the unanimous winner of the 2004 Hammer Award.
We will see if it becomes a consecutive award.
The auction this month consisted of fillet knives and caps, Walter is the recipient of one each.
The club would like to thank the TTI Company for contributing to the club their products, we appreciate it.
NEW BUSINESS:
There was a clarification made pertaining to Art 2, sect 2, #5 of our Constitution and By-Laws. The word "Quarter" is clarified as being any three consecutive months of the year. This was discussed and agreed upon by the E-Board.
Two members, at their request, have been removed from our roster, both in "good standings" at the time.
Maybe one day they can return, especially Dave "stump" Rogers who was in the top six and loved the atmosphere of the club. We will all miss the short jokes Stump.
Due to Hurricane Ivan, Josh Presley will be busy for a while and when all is well, may return, formerly known as "Little Billy".
January Tournament:
The January tournament was held on the Ten Saw river out of cliff's landing. 17 boats in all, eased their way through the fog at blast off, even Rich. Most of the guys went to the grass with a few taking the chance up north on the wood. The forecast was cloudy with some rain with temps in the low 70's, as usual, the weather forecasters were wrong again, by mid morning, you could actually see your own breath, but they did get the cloud and rain part right. Anywho, at the weigh in, there was lots of fish and some nice ones to boot.
Mack "Otto said" Cramer came in with the big fish of the tournament weighing 5.57 lbs and also finishing in third place with a total of 9.86. Second place went to Larry Foshee with 7 fish weighing 10.20 lbs and Dave Dyess took first with 7 fish weighing 10.98 lbs. Great job guys
