OLD BUSINESS:
The Lifetime Membership Topic will be discussed and brought before the club at the end of the season.
October is the month when additions to our Constitution and By-Laws will be implemented.
In the meantime, any and all idea's on the Lifetime Membership topic will be greatly appreciated.
The Club would like to thank Mack and Sandra Cramer for once again hosting the Super Bowl Party.
The food was outstanding and the game itself turned out to be one of the best Super Bowl's in a long time.
Thanks to everyone who lent a helping hand, and to everyone who showed up, thanks for coming.
NEW BUSINESS:
Troy Beedle brought a guest to the meeting, John Lightsey. John is interested in joining our club, see ya at the next meeting. The April tournament was originally scheduled on Easter weekend, we are changing the date to the first weekend of the month instead, Frank Kelly is handling the lodging issue.
The final decision will be put out at the March meeting.
This month's auction went really well, Cliff, Billy, Troy and Larry all made their donations.
Fishing Rods and tackle boxes now have new owners.
February Tournament:
The February tournament was held out of Cliff's landing on the Ten Saw River. Once again, Mother Nature blew in the cold North winds, with authority I might add. One of these days we might see conditions that is favorable for a tournament but don't count on it. The water was stained and the tide was going out but the cold front made it tough for most. One limit was caught for the tournament, good job Troy. Walter McCartney came to the scales with four nice fish weighing 9.85 lbs, good enough to take first place. He also had big fish for the day that tipped the scales at 4.00 lbs even. Troy took second with 9.64 lbs and Lee Brannon took third with 7.69 lbs. Great job guys.
Plastic worms, crank baits and jigs were the baits of choice.
Green Pumpkin and June Bug colors worked best.
