OLD BUSINESS:

The "RAFFLE" drawing for the $150.00 in cash or $150.00 worth of gas was won by Francis Jordan.
The winning ticket was sold by Rich Cornelius.
Cliff Armstrong and Fred Raby were the highest bidders on the tool box kits that were auctioned off by Wally Cassiano, good job Wally, as always. There was no other old business discussed.

NEW BUSINESS:

The club would like to welcome aboard their two newest members, Josh Presley, sponsored by Troy Beedle and Larry Foshee sponsored by Wayne Thomley. Tight lines to you both.
The Club is now at it's maximum membership of 25.
If anyone has anything that they would like to have auctioned off, don't hesitate to bring it to a meeting.
Every little bit helps towards the fish-off.
Members need to think about maybe holding an E-Board position for the upcoming season, or you could nominate someone whom you think would be good for the job and more importantly, will do a good job for the club.
"Remenber"... for those who do not have C B Radio's in their vehicles, try and obtain one in the near future,
this way if someone breaks down it's easy to call for help, that's the main reason we all try and travel to and from tournaments together.

July Tournament:

The July tournament was held on the Tensaw River out of Hurricane Landing.
Their were 19 members present to fish at safe daylight.
The river was a little high and muddy and the tide was coming in.
The rain did hold off till after the tournament was over but we all wish that the morning overcast would have stuck around, as usual, it didn't turn out that way.
The bite was tough for some and some of the guys said they caught a lot of fish, but they were short.
The top water bite was probably the best first thing in the morning, but once the sun popped through the clouds it got tough. Floating worms, Pop-R's, flukes and Zara Spooks was the bait's of choice for the a.m. bite, after that, worms, small crankbaits and jigs got the nod.
At the weigh-in, the new guy on the block (Josh Presley) took first place honors with 6 fish weighing 7.87 lbs, followed by Rich Cornelius with 3 fish weighing 6.28 and finishing in third was Cliff Armstrong who had 4 fish weighing 5.97 lbs. The big fish of the day went to Steve Graham who weighed in a mule topping the scales at 4.50 lbs. Good job guy's, and we all are glad to have Steve back fishing with the club once again.
