September Tournament:
The Sept tournament was held at Lake Eufaula out of the Lake Point Landing. There were 8 Panhandler's present to fish at safe daylight. The tournament director let everyone go just a couple minutes earlier than usual, since there were approx 100 boats ready to take off from inside the marina. It was a beautiful morning and everyone was eager to put a limit in the livewell, but catching keeper bass wasn't so easy. A 14" limit on largemouth make's things tough but there still were high hopes from the Panhandler's. At the first day weigh-in, 16 fish were weighed in with a 4.93 pounder taking big fish for the day caught by Jere Jaillite.
On day 2 of the tournament, only 12 fish were weighed in and this time it was Chris Malena taking big fish honors with a 2.38 pounder. No limits were caught either day.
