September Tournament:

The October tournament was held out of Ellis landing at Miller's Ferry. There were 8 Panhandler's present to fish at safe daylight. The river was stained and the water level was surprisingly close to normal, considering all the rain that moved through the area the week prior. The weather for the two days of fishing was fair but the mid-day temperature was still hot. Those cool days can't seem to get here fast enough.
Most of the fish were caught on texas rigged worms and a few of the guys had success with the topwater bite.
For a two day tournament, the number of fish caught wasn't the greatest but everyone enjoyed it just the same.
Congratulations to Cliff Armstrong for winning the first ever PBC fish-off.
Big Fish honors for the two day tournament went to Pete Potter , a 3.68 pounder.
